the atmosphere was not really overjoyed but more like extremely content with everything

i think i referred to that area as "heaven" but i certainly realized that it was not the real world and i was there temporarily

i kept repeating it in my mind so i don't forget it or something

i didn't realize it was a dream however

then i had a false awakening and it was another dream where i was with my dad near a kitchen table

i told him about the dream including that i didn't realize it was a dream while not realizing it was still a dream

for some reason i mentioned that the dream took place in 1991 and i was 21 in it but i don't think that actually was the case

he started ranting about the soviet union how it was great and he'd protect it right now and he could

sorta implying that i should've protected the soviet union too

i woke up for real shortly after that

the arrows were apparently made out of silver and didn't require sanitization

also there was an unrelated section where he described how he constantly masturbates to images of frogs and never cleans up

most of the dream was spent in a city i've never been to and a house i've never been to

but i supposedly lived there with my dad and no one else

i remember being inside and driving with him somewhere

i saw several of them in the dream but the only one that was recognizable was "avengers"

there was a scene where there was a control panel with buttons and i could "choose what kind of dream i want to have"

unfortunately it wasn't for real and it didn't give me any control over the dream

the first dream i chose was apparently an endless suburban area with a lot of grass and trees that i just walked through

i saw some boy in a kitchen on the first floor of a house so i decided to scare him by slapping the window that was open a tiny bit

the other dream was me running through a dark corridor away from someone

i was held in what was essentially a lax prison

like it looked like a prison but i could leave

there were some former classmates there

it was supposedly located in south africa but everyone was white

at some point i went outside to listen to "nelson mandela's" speech

i remember he said he's gonna use some power that he already used once and people didn't like it

and that it's not on his website mandela.com because he's just announcing it

after that i tried to go back but got lost

i tried to search "prison" on google maps but it took me to a different place

the city itself (it wasn't cape town and i think it wasn't called by its name in the dream) looked like a bunch of skyscrapers interspersed with soviet buildings

there was a location where there was a bunch of armed people behind unbreakable glass and i somehow managed to break in and not get killed

also some areas of the subway had invisible walls like you couldn't walk past them

after i switched the client i appeared in a generic sunny big city

i started bothering random npcs and destroying their shit

then i got bored and decided to see how high i can fly

i flew really slow upwards for some reason

i was playing minecraft and some guy showed me how a certain key combo makes a terracotta platform appear beneath bedrock

i think i discovered there was another dimension below that like in terraria

and there was a wired scene where 2 guys were killing some important person in his boat

i was like in a mental asylum?

but i also routinely left it and did very questionable stuff

also my relatives visited me

i think there was something related to getting people to the roof in the middle of the night?

also i tried to disassemble a couch (idk why there even was one) and there was a hidden compartment inside

like to hide people or something

it was filled with tiny plastic spheres which i think i called "marbles" in the dream

i removed all of them and put them into my desk's drawers

1. it was summer and present day

my house wasn't any of the ones i've actually lived in

i was just walking around

there were a bunch of hills and small cottages

like a mini rural area

then some time passes (i don't remember what happened in between)

i have another walk and there are no hills and no houses anymore

but there is a large mine that digs for some chemical that i can't remember anymore

it was some blue metal

+ there was an under construction bridge

i don't know why because there were no bodies of water

but it was fucking massive

like as tall as a skyscraper and spreading beyond what i can see

2. me walking at night

the city didn't look familiar

there were a couple of scenes where my dad and i drove in a mini van at night but i don't remember the context

3. vacation?

we were in a city with several lakes and it was a sunny summer day

the lakes weren't big but apparently people swam in them anyway

my parents told me to take pictures of them

they gave me a shitty digital camera with a fake metallic body

it folded like a flip phone and had a big 6 inch 4:3 screen

i don't think any 2000s cameras did that

it had a very confusing ui and you had to press a special button to access some functions by going through a long ass menu

also it needed a sim card to be inserted into it for some reason

there were 2 cards inside: a plausible sounding mobile operator (can't remember the exact name) and something like "Fast Money NOW, LLC"

after we arrived home i decided to study the ui finally so i went to the room that looked exactly like my grandma's house from my childhood

there was something playing on the tv that had magic symphony by blue system as the soundtrack

third time hearing a song in a dream btw

it was playing really fucking loud but i didn't mind

i think it was also night but it was illuminated and there were people there

there were like 2 patches of woods and a long hill that separated them in that yard

so i went on that hill and started swimming through snow

at an insane speed

in the end i arrived to the entrance of the school and met some person who was transferring money or something

i only remember a couple moments

one episode began with a fancy montage where a water drop turns into a bug which then turns into a cat which then turns into a catgirl (all pink for some reason)

one episode ended with the camera slowly revealing a room with a bunch of corpses in coffins

presumably battle casualties

one of them was the main character (generic anime girl) which suddenly woke up

there was also a sentient monkey who was her friend and it put itself in a coffin on purpose

it was like being sad and shit that she died then it realized that she woke up

the episode ended right there

the music in that scene was indescribable

like melancholic but with a very pronounced sad part

2. minecraft youtube video

so there were 2 guys

they were building shit on a server

they had some kind of conflict which i don't remember about

guy 1 made a video lashing out on guy 2 and it became a meme gaining 13 million views

it became a meme apparently because it showed an unfinished building made by guy 2

and like it was really ugly or something

guy 2 made a followup video where he talked about all the insane stuff guy 1 did to him and explained that the building was unfinished

i think guy 1 found him and locked him up in a basement or something

3. a weird video game from the 80s/90s

can't remember the exact time period but it was likely the 90s

it required an external device that you connect to your computer with "vga or serial" however that worked

it also had an insane amount of hidden usb ports that slided out if you pressed on something

i got the device first and then i started looking for the game itself on forums

i found it in some forum where people guess the game and the one who guesses gets money from the poster

weird shit but i got the game this way

there were screenshots but they didn't load for some reason

it was described in a way like it was an early video game that pioneered a lot of stuff

so like presumably 80s but there were usb ports

idk how that works

anyway i woke up before seeing what it looks like

me my grandma and my dad were going on some really long car trip to a place i don't remember anymore

it was the end of a semester or something and we were told that we have to get 4 commits merged into minecraft's source or get kicked out

i was nervous but you weren't and you were planning to help me somehow

i'm not sure how this dream ended but the next one was a bunch of characters fighting

and it was like right after this one

it felt like the same dream

i can't remember what was the reason for their fight but it was a bunch of people with and without exoskeletons/mecha suits

they were trying to kill each other so only one survives

i don't think i saw who won

there were a couple more dreams after that but i don't remember them

the last one was me playing a game that was obviously a ripoff of super mario bros 3 but pretended that it wasn't

and they were like in a building that was just one small room and no ceiling

there was another fish this time gray and it was trying to save the first

there were people there and i think they were all dressing up?

either way it looked like a really confusing minecraft map

when i found my way out of it the ceremony already ended and i started crying

4. playing a video game that sorta looked like homm3

i also attempted to recreate the maze from the previous dream in minetest

i used a fucky skybox with galaxies so it looked like it was floating in space

although maybe it wasn't minetest?

i remember there were also like stars and planets and shit and those weren't cubic

5. watching a cartoon that has characters from neon genesis evangelion, scooby doo, and madagascar

i only remember the ending scene

the main villain (generic evil woman) was planning to drive into the middle of a "thousand kilometer wide desert" and leave someone there

she was driving a buggy or whatever the fuck it's called

like an suv but without a roof

i didn't see the victim themselves so i assume they were in the trunk or something

my friend and i were walking around the city during late evening

neither the school nor the city looked like any i've been to

i also could fly and it involved holding some sort of object in your hands

my friend didn't fly so ig he couldn't do it or something

also there was a moment where i realized it was a dream and then forgot about it 5 seconds later

driving with my dad through minecraft landscapes early in the morning

it was in first person and irl but both of us acknowledged that the terrain was minecraft

idk how that works

at first the terrain was really impressive with large mountains and shit

so i complimented that thank god they finally fixed in the modern versions

then we drove into an area with flatter terrain generated in older versions

the grass in modern versions was much greener btw

it could be i switched a resource pack half way but i don't remember doing that and idk how that'd apply to like irl

either way at some the dream turned into myself and some people i know (friends?) going through weird buildings and shit

like skyscrapers and subways

in the end it turned into an online video game or some shit

there were 2 rooms and they were connected by a corridor

i entered one of the rooms and there were a shitton of movable shower curtain holders

without the curtains themselves + they could still hold your weight despite being movable somehow

i felt like i completely expected them to be here so ig you could choose your weapons?

either way i arranged them in a way that when the 2 guys enter i'm gonna beat the shit out of them as fast as possible

i decided to enter the other room to see what's going on

right away one of the guys pushed me into some tiny portal thingy while i wasn't looking and i lost the game

i felt like i fucked up and entered the wrong room but idk why

it was like a city with a picturesque nature around it

a woman was also going to the same place by bicycle and she was saying something about saving her child

the guy and the woman were cooperating i think

then some weird shit happened and they both daydream for a couple minutes thinking they did something important but then realized it woke up and continued

the woman daydreamed of finding her child and the policeman dreamed of grabbing some guy and beating the shit out of him

after the policeman woke up he noticed the guy he was daydreaming of was driving away from him by motorcycle

he took a portal gun out of his truck and magnetized him

it was really fast like he just flew back

he then put him into the truck and started trying to murder him with a feather

like one from a bird

then the scenery suddenly changed from a city road to a forest and the roof of the truck disappeared

the feather also changed to a pen

he was still trying to murder him but it really looked like they were fucking

unconvincing acting in other words

it was much more convincing before

at some point the policeman acknowledged "the viewer" when he accidentally bumped the camera person and they didn't cut that

in the end he also told them to go shoot from the top of another building because the view is better there

1. [relative] visiting us

the apartment didn't look like any i've ever been to but the room [relative] stayed in looked like the room [they] lived in when i was like 10

he was staying overnight

in the morning i went to him and it turned out he wrote a fully functional fully documented nes emulator

i think we agreed to something similar but it still surprised me

2. escaping a building that's about to explode or something

not sure if there was a time limit

there were like 30 something people including me and my grandma

we all climbed down to the last floor of the building with the person who knew how to escape

at the very end there were 2 ways: a regular door that you needed a ticket to go through or a giant puddle of human feces that covered your legs

my grandma decided to go through the shit puddle and i had to stop her because we could go through the door

btw there were like those spinny thingies before the door that they put in the subway that prevent people without a ticket to enter but these did nothing

you could just go through them

the ticket was checked right near the door with a scanner

so when we got to the door it turned out the guy only had 1 ticket and he was going to escape alone and leave us all inside

we bullied him into giving up his ticket and all left with one ticket

he was left in the building

idk if it exploded because the dream ended right here

3. weird top down isomeric game

it kinda looked like a strategy or a civilization building game

you only what i'm talking about

but it was actually an rpg

you did have multiple characters tho

the game had a default windows 95 ui so ig it was old

it wasn't pixel art tho it was like prerendered 3d

you could choose which time period to put yourself into and you had to find some shit

the default second character was an ancient spirit of some kind that you couldn't actually control but you could pray to

i haven't seen that much gameplay because the dream was short

4. viruses killing a human from the inside and then escaping

the viruses were played by humans

it kinda looked like a movie but it didn't feel that way in the dream

it felt like that's just what was happening and i was watching

i forgot most of the details at this point but there were multiple people those viruses transferred too

it also looked surreal

1. some kind of hotel

we were on vacation but it wasn't any tropical place

i remember being in the elevator and going through the hotel entrance

everything looked pretty nice and that had warm lighting and dark walls of different colors

they also had trees planted right in the floor if looked pretty cool

the soil around the trees was covered in polished white stones

like the ones you find near a river or something

2. tv series?

it was like 4 short sci fi movies about a superhero or some shit

or not really superhero but a powerful guy

he had a catchy name but i don't remember it anymore

the locations it was shot in had that kind of doom vibe

it was sealed from the top kinda like a lunch bag but the bag itself was plastic and way bigger than a lunch bag

i woke up before discovering what exactly was in it

1. me on a discord server

i was complaining to people that i couldn't find a job

also there was a person living in space somehow

they mentioned venus but the sky in their photos was black even when there's sun

i guessed that it was a moon of venus

they were born there and they were telling how depressing it is that they'll spend their entire life there without ever seeing the sky or earth in general

i also was visiting some places in person when i wasn't on that discord server but i don't remember any but one

i visited a person which i think i actually know online

they were working as a cashier in a small convenience store

i arrived here in late evening

it looked dark but not like completely black

and it stayed that way for a long time actually

it looked kinda like what it looks like when it's right after the sunset

i was gonna say "right before the sunrise in the north" but now that i think about it it doesn't actually look that way

anyway we talked about employment and they shared my concerns

2. school? college?

it didn't look like any i've ever been to and there weren't any familiar people

i remember running around the place with a group of people

not like for fun but we were short on time or something

there were no classes tho even though it was daytime

also i think i haven't seen the insides of any classroom or a single teacher

there was a scene (it was actually before the running around but i fucked up the order already) where i was in a really big mall during evening

it felt endless but it also felt like the same building

anyway i was looking for a uhhhhh

shower puff

which in the dream itself i called a "shower mop" for some reason

although ig it makes sense why i did that because i didn't actually know what it's called until now

anyway i couldn't find it anywhere

no one sold it no matter how long i looked

one place sold decorative paper versions of them but that was no good

okay now back to school and running around

i was at some point encountering "famous people"

like a guy who designed a computer algorithm or some shit

and a former firefox/thunderbird designer that decided to join us

he flew to the school by slowly landing with a parachute from a ridiculous height

i could see his pov but i still knew it like wasn't me

the outside of the school was a forest

it didn't feel endless but i couldn't see the end

the school itself looked like a giant fucking concrete rectangle with no windows

imagine a hundred skyscrapers right near each other forming a square

terrifying megastructure but it felt pretty chill somehow

anyway that guy landed and i started asking stupid questions to him

one of the questions was about the redesign of a selection dropdown that determined the severity of something

i remember several designs: some circular symbols colored like a traffic light, a square that's only filled partially with a triangular cutoff on the left and text in the middle colored purplish gray, and a version of the first where the symbols are slightly different looking suns in the color of the second

the first was apparently the old firefox design, the second was his thunderbird design, and the third was his new firefox design he did recently

if we pretend that it wasn't nonsense for a moment then i think his new firefox design was the worst

because the first mostly used color to differentiate and the second mostly used shape and the third just kinda sucks

anyway back to that guy

i was asking questions and at some point he got tired of answering them while we continued running

at some point we bumped into a dead end

like a solid wall at the end of a corridor

there was an alarm and it started screaming really loud

i was told to "GET DOWN" (it was said in a more agrammatic way but i don't remember the exact phrasing) and cover my ears

we didn't run away and nothing happened instantly so i guessed it wasn't an explosion and there would instead be just a really loud sound

i never found out because i woke up right before it happened

i found an unreleased game called "rubydung 2"

which was made by notch in collaboration with an old partner

not partner as in his old wife but a business partner (but female)

the game had 2 versions available

the early one but it was a bit similar to minecraft

i remember that the were landscapes and shit

like forests and mountains

i don't quite remember if it really was a sandbox tho

the late version was completely different

it was a first person multiplayer game where you're in a tiny apartment with other people and you do shit

i played it in vr on an android headset that was really cheap

actually that may have been a separate dream

anyway you could also switch to the third person isometric view

levitation was part of the gameplay which was a bit weird

i also looked up the controls online and there were 4 separate control schemes and all of them used at least 1 nonstandard button

one of them used 🤡 and another used ☁ which was colored blue like a cloud storage service logo

the 🤡 one had an icon like that creepy clown gif

1. i don't remember the first one but i do remember that it was there and it was elaborate

2. going through a website with obscure songs

it looked a bit similar to spotify (there was only a dark theme) but with a blue accent color

there wasn't any sidebar on the left however

anyway i found an electronic jazzy something artist from like the 90s or 2000s

i checked the cover art and it turned out it was medvedev

i thought maybe it's from the 80s because he looked too young for the timeline to match

i woke up and then almost instantly fell asleep

3. "school graduation" that i "fail"

this time it was a grand festival in a concert hall where you had to arrive the day prior and sleep in the dorms with everyone else

the festival itself had stuff that "tested your abilities" or some shit

like we had to make a dish (i think i just filled a plate with dry apricots) or a poem or something like that

i think i actually did relatively well because i went through all of it without having a mental breakdown

in fact it was kinda fun albeit a bit stressful

but in the end i was told "sorry you fucked up" and then i did have a mental breakdown

i got so angry that i decided to go back in past

which i did actually

i did something wrong during arrival and instead of dorms i was put into a bathroom with 2 beds one of which was already occupied

it smelled disgusting especially because the toilet was open and there was unflushed shit

i flushed it and right away went back in past again

the dream ended before i could fix anything

4. i'm not sure if there was a dream here but the previous dream doesn't connect to the next one in the slightest so there might have

5. playing homm3 during class

it was the same school i was graduating from 2 schools ago

the classroom looked nothing like any we had

i don't remember what anyone looked like except my friend and the teacher

both of them looked like what they did back in the 9th grade

there were windows xp computers with crt monitors

it was supposedly the russian language class so idk why we needed them

anyway at some point i installed a mod out of boredom

it added really weird game mechanics like getting control of the opponent's monster at the cost of giving up the control of yours

it also added new towns and made the ui look like it was a ripoff of homm2 drawn in ms paint

idk if it was intentional but it also made all sound effects unimaginably compressed

it was like 64 kbps mp3

when i tried to exit the game it kept playing the music and went me through a couple of useless dialogs

in the end it left me with a list of games or some shit that kinda looked like a list of virtual machines

the music still kept playing

there was no close button which confused the hell out of me

the teacher noticed this and it we were suddenly ordered to summarize text

i really couldn't do it

like i'd read text and my brain wouldn't process it

i gave it to my friend which copied his version onto my sheet

including the illustrations which he drew with a pencil so well that they almost looked printed

we gave our sheets to the teacher and went on our 5 minute break which we never had in the 9th grade

the break felt more like 1 minute because we ran down the stairway and the bell already rang when we were halfway there

we went back to the classroom and i woke up after that

btw i remembered that when i woke up between dreams 2 and 3 i had some thoughts about being able think freely within the dream but not control it

idk if that actually happened because it didn't happen in dream 2 and i don't remember dream 1 still

me and a bunch of my former college groupmates were in the mountains

like snowy andes but it wasn't particularly cold

i don't think you were there tho

we were at a train station planning to go to a

i don't know how to even describe it

we had a video game like quest to defeat a big monster or some shit

we were going to wear armor and had the expectation that dying is fine because you don't actually die

it kinda was irl tho?

either way there was a small isolated area of the mountains with a "country" that didn't know much about the outside world and had those video game mechanics

we bought tickets there and it was like a 15 minute train ride

the mountains were really steep and at some point it felt like we were upside down and at another point like we were falling

i thought that maybe the train turned into a bus and then into a plane but the interior stayed the same and when we left it it was still a train

so idk maybe it turned into a rope suspended train or some shit

either way when we entered the territory of the country we had a radio announcement telling us the basics of survival there

they only told them once and i almost right away forgot most of them and i felt confused that you couldn't ask for them again

what i did remember is that they had an emperor and you weren't supposed to say certain phrases or they're gonna kill you

like you weren't supposed to mention jesus if you're christian

so yeah we arrived and it was like a 70s city in the mountains with a dense fog

some boy bumped into us and he had a completely emotionless face

he wanted something from us but i didn't know what so i said he could follow us

there were tram tracks that i wanted to cross but i couldn't figure out how to

there were no traffic lights and each time there was no tram when i tried to cross a growly voice would say something unintelligible on a speaker

so i instead just went down the road with the rest of the group

i don't remember how but we met their emperor which was just a really swole dude with cyan skin

reminds me of some zelda character but idk which one since i never played it

anyway he allowed us to look through his apartment because it's was a common thing there apparently

i found "hd" cds in his cupboard

which were like compact disks that were used to store hd video

i looked at them like it's some ancient piece of shit from the 2000s

it said that it fit 20 gigs of data and i thought "okay so a dvd fits 250 gigs so this is 1/5th of that"

wildly incorrect math aside neither cds nor dvds were ever that big so idk what i were thinking

i continued looking through the cupboard and the emperor offered a person from the group to betray and murder me

which was apparently also a thing there

i think they declined but the dream stopped shortly after that anyway

after i woke up but i still was eepy i imagined being on a beach in "los angeles" which looked like a european town with a lake

i had my eyes closed but i could still see what it looked like a few days prior

there was a rope with like small floating platforms in the water the size of a smartphone but cylindrical

i entered the lake by them but when i tried to go back i bumped into someone i knew (my dad?) so i had to open my eyes

idk if that counts as a dream technically but whatever

oh yeah also in the dream that's actually a dream my seat in the train was no 9

completely irrelevant but i still somehow remember it

i was sitting right next with a groupmate i didn't really like

1. i realized i was in a dream and right away decided to have sex with a serial killer clown

i couldn't do it because reality failed to bend according to my will

the dream ended abruptly at some point

2. walking alone on the highway during twilight in winter

it was an open field with a couple tiny villages

i was looking for somewhere to stay at night

it wasn't really cold (and i was dressed light) but i was still scared of the night

i didn't find anywhere to stay but i did find speakers playing really loud music just standing outside

i thought i remembered leaving them there before with my friends

which is strange because the landscapes and the village looked completely alien

btw i also had yandex maps on my phone and i think it said i was in northern siberia

like roughly the same geographic area as norilsk

anyway i couldn't find anywhere to stay in the end

3. driving repeatedly through the same stretch of road

i was in a completely empty bus and it was driving for like a couple kilometers then everything would reset

the outside was an unbearably saturated sunny summer day

like imagine the worst minecraft video thumbnail where they pushed saturation as high as possible

it was that but without gamut clipping

each time it'd rest the outside was different

the one i remember was like a generic asian city in an underdeveloped country

i think i saw the flag of uae which is funny because i have no idea what that flag looks like

so like the buildings were arranged densely and were mostly small

there were big ones farther away from me

absolutely not a single person tho

also the perspective was kinda weird because i didn't see any buildings right in front of me

it was like as if everything was in the background

but it wasn't just a flat image because there was parallax it didn't look like a video game it looked like real life

the landscape the city was built on was mostly flat with a few sporadic perfectly circular mountains

it was like someone just randomly placed them in the old unity terrain editor

btw one of the big buildings was that big ass tower from seattle

like the one with a dish on the top

hold on there was a dream after that

4. i wake up inside the dream (presumably from the previous dream)

i was in a different bus

this time there were people with me and the bus looked lived in

it was like a house on wheels but inside a bus

it was dark outside so prolly either early morning or late evening

i knew that the bus was in the united kingdom and the people were my partners but i they weren't anyone i've seen irl

i wanted to do some trivial action but one of the guys told me i shouldn't do it or the other guy will kill me because you shouldn't do it today

i got scared for some reason

i woke up shortly after

it was "high school"

i don't remember who my classmates were except one from middle school

he discovered a way to make jet fuel out of olive oil and he made a scientific paper for it and shit

there was also something linux-related which didn't look out of context in the dream but idk how it fits

also a scene where we make dough then take it home and promise to make bread

my dough was green and i thought i was gonna throw it out

it was like the last class or something

the inventor classmate showed me his wallet and there was a bill of every country's currency during that class

looked pretty cool i was jealous

anyway after the class ended i went through a hole in the wall in the corridor and flew away

i was talking to the same middle school friend as last time

in the meanwhile i was noclipping through buildings

including my grandma's apartment which somehow had way too many rooms and was floating in empty void

it didn't feel like a video game tho

and it didn't feel like talking remotely

even though he wasn't there

weird sense that's hard to describe

anyway we had a really nice conversation

at some point i called him darlin'

the whole conversation was in english btw

he told me something about pronouns even though that's not a pronoun?

not sure what that was about

anxiously going through supermarkets trying to find stuff while it's raining outside

the city was big and it wasn't any i've ever been to

it was autumn and my college groupmates and i were going to swim in a body of water

it was cloudy outside and the water was really fucking cold

like almost freezing actually unbearable

there were only 3 groupmates but it still felt like an assignment

don't remember at the point if it actually was or if it felt competitive

so anyway they went swimming and i chickened out because i was prolly gonna die in water that cold

i went to an empty bus that was parked in the front yard of a khruschevka and just sat there

ig it was the bus we arrived there in the first place

i returned to them half an hour later

all 3 of them looked like those medical drawings of people with skin removed

like the ones where it shows all of the muscles

and it was supposedly due to the temperature

somehow they were not only alive but also happy and talking to each other and blaming me for not coming

it took me a while to process what just happened and get back to the bus

the dream ended before i got back to that bus

now right after that i had a false awakening like 3 times in a row i swear

it was like "oh what a cool dream i need to record it" and then it was that again

after that i still didn't wake up

instead i had another dream where i'm walking through a neighborhood at night and see a grandma listening to music in headphones

she was sitting near something that looked like a tv frame but the inside only had a vinyl record inside

i googled and it was a vinyl record player from 1903

not sure if vinyl records existed back then but she was using that monstrosity nonetheless

i also discovered that they had a way of writing up to 200 GB of digital data on it also back in 1903 which certainly wasn't a thing

i woke up for real shortly after

it was supposedly a hospital but it looked more like a sanatorium on the inside

the main room i was like a giant communal bedroom with like 20 beds on each side

every bed had a black blanket

each bed was populated and i remember that one of the people was a former groupmate

supposedly we had to stay there because the only other option was to go to the military commissariat and ask for a hospital there and that was worse

also we could use phones which we wouldn't for the later option

anyway at some point we went to the doctor

it was the one that checks your throat and whatnot

while waiting in a queue i counted my fingers and realized that i had the wrong number of them

i thought "huh okay i'm dreaming" but it didn't feel like i gained control

it still felt like a regular dream

so anyway i immediately proceeded to have sex with the doctor

at some point i had a false awakening inside the same communal bedroom

i right away counted my fingers and realized i was still dreaming

i told a couple guys "what if i told you you're in a dream right now"

still didn't feel like i had any control tho

i proceeded to teleport to a random big city and noclip through buildings to fuck with strangers (literally)

very unoriginal i wish it'd do something like playing the greatest song ever or something

anyway at some point i false awakened again inside the same bedroom

i counted my fingers again and there were 10 of them

i was like "cool i'm actually awake now"

afterwards there was a scene where i went outside and the weather was cloudy and there was no grass on the ground

i woke up for real in the middle of that scene

1. playing some vr game about fish

like you're fish and other players are fish too and you build shit in the water

it felt really lovely

2. there was a plot about how inaturalist at first was an online game

they added the photo upload feature during one of the updates and they forgot to limit it to in-game objects

so players started uploading real plants and animals and it eventually took off the entire site

i found an old faq online and i was reading through it

also i found videos from a person who was in his 70s and was using the website for 25 years or something

i don't think it's that old irl

3. driving through mountains with parents

at some point i noclipped out of the car and started flying

the landscape looked almost like a stock image

really green grass and blue clear sky

there was a road sign so i went where it pointed and i arrived to a tiny town at some point

it had mostly soviet buildings there

the dream became completely incomprehensible here

there was something about my classmates back from middle schools mocking me and something about video games but idk where it fit

and in the meanwhile i continued walking through the town and my parents continued driving

4. watching a video game review

it was an snes game i think but the camera was rotated in such a way that you could see different layers separately

like a 3d effect

certainly isn't possible on the actual hardware

anyway it was a platformer where you played as a tomato (apple?) and you had a friend who was a banana

the reviewer remarked that the developer was famous for making christian games and they were trying to make this one not christian

but they kinda failed because of numerous similarities to their previous games

like "these are essentially the same character" or "this character has a very similar catch phrase"

doesn't quite make sense as an analysis but whatever

there was a tv show where people were fighting over getting a chance to become a character in some famous thing

i was watching the final episode where there was a tear jerker episode that involved a character doing something impossible

also before that there was something about a group of people that couldn't escape a moat around them until someone figured out you can put a bucket upside down and use it as a platform

after the tv show i was in a weird bathtub

it was shaped like a hollow donut about 3x3 meters in size and like a meter tall

there was no roof so you could get out of it but i fit in it entirely

2 people could fit in it staring into each other's feet and still have space left

the tub was made out of broze or some other kind of orange metal but it wasn't cold to touch

it wasn't filled with water completely but instead like only a little bit

barely covering me

i don't quite remember how it could spin at this point but i think it was suspended with metal wires

kinda reminds me of waterpark slides actually

the room that it was in looked like a soviet canteen kitchen with white walls

it also spun around slowly which was pretty relaxing

i was listening to the radio in the meanwhile which mentioned something about a super mario bros being the only person who achieved something as a teenager

after that i navigated through maze-like dressing rooms 3 times

first one was normal the second one was "run through the beach naked and hope no one spots you"

also i had to jump down a stone cliff without breaking all of my bones which i somehow did

third one was also normal except there was a section for "foreigners" which is what i entered

my mouth was full of salt for some reason and i couldn't open the water tap so i used a conveniently placed water battle with a sprayer

line the kind of sprayer they put on soap bottles

the walls there looked like they were from a japanese house

dark blue and seemingly made out of paper

youtube poop of a mecha anime series (although it looked live action)

the final scene was the main character is near the final boss preparing to attack

their friend arrives on an old ship familiar to the main character

it looked exactly like the ship from sdf macross

and funnily enough the main character's mecha looked like star platinum but in a middle eastern hat which name i don't remember

it was like the white wide one that kinda looks like someone wrapped a towel around your head

flat on the top

anyway they tell to the main character

it was something along the lines of "i know it's old and half the ship is missing but it may be useful"

the ship barely managed to get level btw

then they swapped

the main character entered the ship and their friend entered the mecha

i woke up shortly after

1. me and some more people were enslaved by some guy

we lived in sheds and he was feeding us trash

also he used some contraption that held you in a seated position and injected poison into your neck

in the end we ran away in a car

i was paranoid about him catching us but i think it didn't happen?

2. giant mall with slides

like you took a ride on a slide to get from one floor to the other

the slides were green and dangerously narrow btw

was pretty fun

all of them were in the middle of the mall

on some stretches it looked like you were in a void idk what that was

maybe they weren't completely in the middle but went around the mall through service rooms

3. flying through a city

not a big city just a regular one

it was like a spectator mode in minecraft

although i didn't noclip through buildings

i did noclip through the ground into a cave tho

1. it was raining and i had some plumbing issues

the sky was gray but it wasn't sad

very dreamy atmosphere

there was also something about like a secret tiny house on top of the apartment building

like a tree house but not on a tree

2. middle school

there was a boring history class and then an unusually long celebration of some military holiday

i managed to skip both by fucking around the school

when everything ended it was also night

i went home with my friends

3. nonexistent cathode ray dude video about modern apple ii replacements

one of them had an intel 8080 cpu apparently

it was like a small box with several identical very big ports on the front

like an audio jack but much thicker

it cost $400 or something so he didn't like it

1. brazil

there was a pool that'd fill with water from the amazon river

it had a floor with multiple levels at multiple heights and it was also big

there were many cool plants there like moss and seaweed

but the water was clean and you could see everything it was cool and green

also i was growing bananas there apparently

not a tree tho but just on their own

like imagine how they're sold in supermarkets but hundreds in one place instead of a few

at some point the water level got lower and it was all gone except for the lowest level of the pool

like all the green was gone and you could see the concrete

including the bananas

when the water level got high again it was back tho

also i had a friend who lived in what looked like a fishing village

it was standing on water and it had brutalist soviet architecture but still with a fishing village vibe

greenery everywhere too

2. middle school? college?

it was supposedly middle school but i remember seeing a groupmate from college

at first it was like i left them but i wondered what they're doing

so i used an irl minecraft spectator mode

i don't remember the insides of the school

the outside looked vaguely like the school i went to even i was 12 but slightly wrong

then i tried to go there in person

also it was winter i think

there was a giant moat around the school filled with clean water

you were supposed to swim through it

i had a coat and i didn't know what to do with it so i dragged it with myself

something wrong went along the way and the groupmate in question stopped complaining

then the dream suddenly turned into 2 kindergarteners fighting and one of them trying to destroy the other's phone

one of them was saying she's gonna pull out the phone's storage chip but couldn't figure out which one it was

i found a cool federated discussion platform

like a forum but on the fediverse

it was new and made by a guy called Ahmed M...

also it had a pretty cool theme even though it was modern (the corporate kind)

also i think you could edit posts like on wikipedia? idk what that was about

anyway i helped the author with something

like a suggestion or something

and he credited me in the changelog as "LarBy"

i was like what the fuck

i googled and apparently someone made a fork of an ancient version of my website called OpenLarby and that guy thought it was me

i was gonna tell him about it but i had to go somewhere

later i was trying to tell him that from my phone while i was on the road

i wasn't authorized tho and i couldn't do it from another fediverse instance because it couldn't do that

also i think you were part of one the discussions on that website shortly after the changelog was updated

the discussion was unrelated to the changelog

the dream ended with me being near an apartment building i saw regularly when i was a child

it was near my grandma's house

when i was like 7

i had a kick scooter (had to google what this one is called) and i was driving happily while no one was around

the road had lots of pebbles but it wasn't an issue somehow

in the background a nonexistent song was playing that had a tune similar to akira jimbo's get down to the wire

it wasn't any song i've heard (not even that one)

the last dream was like

i'm dressed like stormtrooper at some kind of holiday

i'm also in my grandma's house she had during my childhood

i open the window and point my toy blaster at people

i hear the counter strike "bomb has been planted" sound

i get scared and go away from the balcony into the kitchen

i hear the same voice say "this is a planet of destruction"

then a fucking nuclear bomb detonates right outside the window

and you can see how the ground is thrown up by it

i tried to scream to let my mom know but i didn't have enough time

i thought it wasn't a dream so i didn't know what's gonna happen afterwards

unsurprisingly i woke up

btw when i was in the balcony it was night and when i was in the kitchen it was already daytime

even though basically no time passed

i could fly and my [relative] and [their] friends could too

they could do it better than me and i had to fly with a second person

flying was like in minecraft creative mode

at some point everyone lost this ability

also there was a scene about a helicopter and a government agent or something

and a scene about leaving prison

scenes i remember:

• working in a weird grocery store

sometimes it had no roof and sometimes it had one

at some point i gave another employee a bottle of water and he choked to death

i slapped his throat and he came back alive

turned out he had some seeds covered in slime in his throat

they kinda looked like tiny bananas with big seeds but without skin and what transparent meat

• apartment building staircase

this time there were no walls and you could see the outside

there were really cool mountains

they were covered in dry grass and trees

okay how do i put into words

you know that place where the staircase turns into the opposite direction

like a mini floor

there was a fence and behind it there was a humanoid hedgehog

he looked like a slightly fat boy with spikes

he was lying down with polished stones on his eyes pretending to be dead

i was trying to take a picture of him and the mountains

he kept throwing something into me and pretending to be dead again so i started hissing at him like a cat

at some point a girl decided to get that hedgehog and bring him to her apartment

i was confused why she'd do that

okay the previous dream

slapped is not the most accurate term here

it was more like flicked with my finger

me and my other grandma were in egypt

we were near the sea on a sandy shore

there were beautiful flowers

we discussed something about the sand not being there previously

so like half the town was just the nile river

at some point we want back to our hotel room

it had like a 80s vibe to it but not particularly soviet

the street was darker that like regular areas exposed to sunlight

there were things hanging above

had a turkish or indian vibe

either way i wanted to go back take pictures of flowers

i got lost so i went back

then i tried to go out again and right away got stopped by a russian looking cop

he said "where are your parents" and i was like "dude i'm 22"

he insisted to let me show him my parents so i went to my grandma with him

he had a voice similar to my [relative] btw and i really wanted to tell him about it but didn't

either way it turned out my grandma stole like 20 movies on dvd and was saying that someone gifted them to her

the cop wrote something on a piece of paper and hung it on the window

the dream ended here

there were 2 more dreams but i don't remember them anymore

i forgot the first 2

the last 3 were

• using a time machine (that looks like an elevator) in my home towfn and giving advice to some guy on how to find his parents in the past
• pe class + a long dark hallway where i find out my shoes were made of polyethylene bags and also broken
• a youtube video(?) discussing how a translation/dub of a movie completely changed it because they mixed up the tapes and lost shit. the movie was some kind of 80s slasher and it was edited by a guy who looked like sylvester stallone but whose last name was traveller

in the second dream there were also people from middle school who looked slightly off being a bit off put by me

• i fell asleep with my laptop bag and destroyed my laptop. couldn't find anywhere to repair it right away because it was too late and got mad
• me and my family in a big park (that was also a mall?) finding a place and making a mini base there to celebrate something. there was a cool scene with a campfire on top of the mountain on the end
• hunting dinosaurs on an alien planet then finding a human woman from a failed colonization attempt. she lived on an abandoned base and apparently had a vinyl of a cheryl lynn album
• some old ass guy trying to find which job at microsoft he'd like and them offering a lot of them in a row to him (prolly yt video)

also there was a dream where i got a new phone

there were many dreams but 3 of them had a recurring character

it was a guy in his early 20s wearing a black leather jacket and a short haircut

he had some weird power that let him control electricity with his hands

but not not like control control but more like slightly control

in the first dream i met him in a back alley behind some factory

btw it was summer and the vibe was pretty cool

like it was evening and the trees were casting shadows + the factory itself was painted in pastel colors

pretty cool

he decided to fight me but i ran away i think and called my friend from middle school to help

he did some muscle paralysis shit using his power and defeated my friend

in the second dream he was torturing people to get information

there were 3 of us and i was the third

he was hanging people using a construction crane

actually now that i think about it it's a kinda shitty way to get information out of people because you can't talk while you're hanged

idk what he was thinking

anyway i was really scared

i was thinking like i'm gonna die and i don't know what happens after that

when he attempted to hang me nothing happened and it turned out the crane was now rigged

then the police arrived and apprehended him

later there was a scene where i and someone else walked through some building that belonged to him and it turned out he was harvesting bunnies

there were like a lot of them

he was using them for electricity experiments but i don't remember how

most of the bunnies were either black or gray

in the third dream it was a video game

i can tell that because i remember loading save files from the menu and discussing the gameplay with someone else

still it was in first person and covered my field of vision for the most part

the guy kidnapped me and i had to get out somehow

i had an unlimited amount of fermented cabbage and water as food and a gun with exactly one bullet

i woke up before i managed to escape

but i did die multiple times

i think there were traps or something?

no it was the guy himself appearing

either way i don't remember well at this point

the building where i was kept was like a very ran down khruschevka

with bare concrete walls and stains everywhere

except it was one story tall

so technically not a khruschevka ig

watching a series of videos by tom scott

there were 4 videos and they were getting increasingly longer each time

from 6 to 40 minutes

they had a common topic but i forgot which one

it was either lighting technology or typewriters

at the same time i was investigating minecraft's new reworked lightning system

nonexistent in the real world

it added better fog mostly

i also talked to the guy who made it and he was fired from microsoft and was very upset about it

i tried to calm him down

there was a dream inside a dream where i saw a movie and it impressed me and inspired me to make something inside the regular dream

i no longer remember the details

i was temporarily staying in a hotel with my dad for some reason

it was right on the border with another country

i was watching avgn videos on my phone to kill time and walking outside sometimes

at some point i discovered that every version of usb (like the computer protocol) has an anthem

every one of them was an 80s chinese pop song like that i love beijing tiananmen rendition

except the anthem for usb 4 2.0 which was still that except halfway through the song an american singer starts singing all star by smash mouth

he kinda sounded like thundercat if he sang without falsetto

also it was autumn outside

like early autumn

the ones where you can clearly tell his hair loss

none of the videos were real

i was petting a cat and then it started talking to me

it was weirdly mesmerizing

i kept petting it then 2 more cats arrived and i started petting them too

the house i was in looked like the one i lived in in like 2014

this repeated one more time with different cats

not sure if it was outside or inside

next day i came up to my mom and was like

"i think i'm going insane because i can hear cats talk to me"

but i was trying to downplay it like it's not that bad

the dream ended before she replied

after that i had a dream where i was recording that dream

false awakening basically

i think i remembered more details then which is kinda unfortunate

in one i'm just walking around outside while the sky is overcast and kinda dark like it's about to rain

it was summer and not any location i've been to

in another dream my mom and i were in a shuttle bus and some people were acting like idiots on purpose

not sure if we had any affiliation with them

i started recording the audio of them on my phone

the third dream was me wrestling what i assume were my friends

they weren't any people i know

i think it happened inside my other grandma's apartment she had during my childhood

i fell asleep by zoning out while using my phone

about half an hour later i woke up shaking with a sense of imminent danger to my life

i went to the bathroom and immediately forgot why

i must've had a really scary dream that i no longer remember

i don't know how the hell that happens

this is the second time actually

that time i woke up dressed is pretty much the same situation

my nonexistent friend and i were in an abandoned building

it was a house formerly turned into a play center for flash games

like there were couches and tvs and shelves with flash games

it was called "the flash archive" i think

the logo was exactly the same as flashpoint has irl

i'm not sure how it was abandoned because it looked pristine and lighting worked

either way we found some flash games i played as a child none of which were real

we also found stashes of cash hidden in bottom shelves

we took everything

the building itself was located in like that area of the city where there's a bunch of private houses

the road was unpaved too

the particular room we were in was mostly empty and had 1 couch

at some point we left and i had a conversation with my mom over text about website safety

she told me to like verify the origin or some shit

idk what it was about

the ones i remember but the were more

1. the void

it was completely black and there was stuff floating in it that had a white outline

video game level esque

it looked roughly as follows:

island -> road? bridge? that curved right with a pit or something on the left -> another island -> staircase downwards

2. another staircase

this time it was like a realistic one but it only between 2 floors

i was roleplaying an insane person with 2 people who played doctors

i said nonsensical stuff and they prescribed some funny sounding medication i no longer remember

right after that there was a neon genesis evangelion meme (like an image macro with the impact font)

3. the void again

this time it was less visible

like some parts were obscured by what looked like black fog but not quite

the vsauce theme (moon men instrumental by jake chudnow) was playing in the background with a lot of reverb while i walked through it

after that there was a repeat of the previous dream but with a different piece of media instead of evangelion

i think it was that tv show where dressed in colorful costumes

like the one the cookie monster is from

anyway after that i was back in the staircase and i just opened the wall and walked through it

i appeared on a regular street outside during evening with my [relative]

i had to walk [them] back home for some reason

i knew that this was a dream at this point but didn't have control over it

the fact that it's a dream was brought up in conversation but without any surprise

4. there was a dream where i was held captive but i don't remember any details at this point

i think it after dream 1 but before dream 2

this one came first i think but i only just remembered it

i think it was me asking some stupid shit to people

i remember the last 2

there were at least 2 more but i don't remember them

1. driving with my dad

there was a nonexistent windows vista wallpaper

called "original windows xp"

clever naming

it was shot in a city that was built on the side of a giant sand dune

in the wallpaper it was evening and there were lights in the city

the lights were like warm 2700 K street lights

the wallpaper was taken from the top of the sand dune

so you could see the lights on top and then it disappeared below into the desert

so my dad and i were driving through that area in the morning

i think we either didn't yet arrive to it or drove past it in the dream

i remember telling my dad i couldn't my eyes but i haven't seen the landscape itself from the car yet

probably the former

2. i just remembered the dream before the first one and this is it

i was watching tv series on my phone

it was a russian comedy but everything was in english iirc

the characters were doing questionable stuff and absolutely insane things were happening

the dream was right before the first one it like smoothly transitioned

i don't remember exactly what was happening in the tv series at this point

3. infiltrating a soviet astronaut facility

this was the last dream

i was doing it with my dad

at first it was like we were running around and i was playfully telling him where to turn

but at some point it suddenly turned into the infiltration

my dad and i turned into opposite directions

i ran to the end of the room and climbed up the ceiling skipping a million different ladders you needed to go through otherwise

it was like a wooden obstacle course you needed to go through to get up

idk why it'd be there

anyway i barely managed to lift myself up

quite unrealistic because irl i wouldn't manage to do it at all

we were there to deliver a message to someone called luna

so we said the name out loud at some point

the dream ended right after i climbed up

i remembered another dream

in it i was about to go on a car trip topless but then remembered i'd need a shirt afterwards because i'll be outside

idk what that was about

not sure if this is the 4th dream i was trying to remember because i feel like there were more dreams

also i just realized "original windows xp" isn't actually clever naming because microsoft never planned to make vista instead of xp

i must've got confused by that longhorn situation

1. weird song

it was a guy singing in english with a clear russian accent

it was like a generic "hey girls looks i'm attractive" song but with some really weird lines

the only one i remember at this point was about him owning chinese vases which he pisses in

2. postapolacypltic video game set in detroit

i don't remember the name but it was an obvious ripoff of detroit become human

the game itself had bare bones graphics like if it was made for ps2

it was set during the night and the city looked like a russian city but with only crappily modern buildings of different sizes

the plot was that you had a guy who was your boss and he was giving it instructions from the headquarters

you had to prevent some weird shit from happening

i think in the end you failed and the game had a sad ending

3. one more postapocalyptic game

don't remember anything about it at this point

it kinda looked like a live action tv series where you could tell it wasn't postapocalypse because of people walking in the background

not sure if it even was a video game

i only remember one of them

it was a live action surreal humor tv series

with a like 2000s vibe

i think it was the pilot

there was a main character and he was in a sentient house

the house told him that sometimes it has people in it

implying it makes them appear

so the main character asked if he could see one

he went to some bearded guy who had a room that could make anything you wished appeared in it

the main character asked like "what about a room full on corn"

the bearded guy said "not in september" and closed the room behind him

you could see that it was full of corn when he did that

they then went to have a cup of tea

at some point the bearded guy revealed that he hated nothing more than "people who don't understand the laws of physics" (in reference for asking for corn in september)

he sent the main character to be eaten by a giant sea monster

the main character right away found out that it's actually not a sea monster but a monkey and it's not giant but he was shrunk

so he unshrinked himself and bashed the monkey with a coconut until it drowned

i watched another episode later and i don't remember anything from it except that in it he was drowning another monkey by hitting it with a rock

and he made a reference like "not the first time i have to drown a monkey"

btw the show had kinda desaturated colors and overcast weather

in the meanwhile it also had a playful vibe like the actors were having fun

i think it was also shot in the 16:9 aspect ratio?

it took my entire field of vision but i'm still pretty sure that was the case

it was an incoherent mashup of:

• middle school teacher giving a ww2 assignment
• going to a megamind looking guy living in an empty concrete mansion in some unusually blue place
• a movie where in the intro scene a family has to enter a completely dark house in the middle of the night
• flying through some floating islands minecraft elytra style
• people online being angry about the darkness of skin of a video game character with blue skin who is an allusion to people in india

1. moving to a hole in the ground

it was like a sandy hill and there were a bunch of barely visible holes with houses inside

the house itself was pretty cool inside

2. flying through a big city

as in like levitating

there was also something related to crime i solved

or participated? not sure

i think it was a video game

there was also something about "moving to the place that moves faster than my old one"

as in like literally it spins around the earth faster

but i'm not sure if it was the same dream

3. i live with my parents in a ran down apartment and have to go to school/college

both the apartment and the school were completely alien

the people were too

during one class i noticed that i have really dirty ears with a ton of wax

i took out my phone and added "don't forget to wash ears" to my todo list

4. watching a tutorial on youtube

i don't remember what exactly it was about

after it ended in similar videos there was straight up pornography disguised as another tutorial from the same person

i was like "how the fuck is it still up"

i remembered that there's an exception for educational videos so i thought it's that

the real life exception wouldn't have worked for this though because it was really graphic and not entirely educational

scrolling through my music library trying to find a suitable masayoshi takanaka song

none of the songs were real

there were multiple albums where the name was just a number like 120 or 157 and the cover art was him on a background and it looked like it was shot digitally

all of the albums were from the 80s tho when good digital cameras didn't exist

there was also an album which was a soundtrack for "warhammer 10000" but the cover art had a dragon ball z looking anime girl on it

the first song kinda sounded like the music used in ginger root's trailer for meet you in the galaxy the movie

the rest of the songs sounded plausibly like they could've been made by takanaka

first i was watching a video where a guy was talking about some shitty old tv series

he kinda looked like quinton reviews but slightly off

then i watched his video about some popular anime about vegetables

it was like that christian cartoon about vegetables except they had more wild colors and it was anime with multiple installments and a cult following

then i watched some animated cartoon from the 90s

it was fully cgi and it looked absolutely horrifying

like 10x worse than toy story

the scene was like

someone approaches a group of main characters and they run away

2 of them were an ostrich and some fucky creature

the ostrich climbed up a fence and it did it with that cheesy walking animation where legs just move in opposite directions

while it went up

in the meanwhile i decided to listen to some music and i had to receive a 2fa code to authorize for some reason

i woke up right after that

oh yeah i typed that code as 2 separate letters s and it worked

1. flying through a big city

it had a vibe of my home town but much more clean

there were lots of parks and shit

i was flying using a minecraft elytra like superpower where i could jump really high and fall slowly

and i had a bat like suit with flaps to slow down my fall even further

there was also a scene where i was trying to invite a friend to meet somewhere but they couldn't understand exactly where

and a scene where i and someone else fucked something up really bad in a place that looked like a moon base

2. watching a video that explains how life works

the guys used a lot of tech metaphors

near the end he summed everything up as "everything is just a square full of parts that everyone reuses"

and there was a cgi rendering of a square looking computer with no case

and it had that shitty ray tracing effect going on where it looked like it was clearly rendered in blender

after that he was trying a sell a get rich quick scheme of growing sperm cells at home

his argument was that "they're really easy to grow and they don't need much but sell for a lot"

and there was another rendering of a contraption he used for that

i remember 2 of them

in reverse chronological order:

1. me and like 5 other people moving to the same apartment to due to high property costs

most of these people were ones i talk to on discord

the vibe of the dream was really unusual

it was like a black and white lcd console (like gameboy) game but it was in first person and 3d

it didn't feel like a video game tho it felt completely natural

also it didn't look like polygon rendered 3d

it looked 2d but each time i moved everything would redraw itself

very surreal

anyway the apartment we were moving it was similar to the one i lived in when i was like 13

it was full of garbage and were collectively trying to clean it up

one of the people weren't present because they got banned from the apartment complex or something

they spilled "ammonia" all over the place which in the dream looked like white powder with big fluffy grains

idk it ammonia even has a solid form actually

anyway we cleaned up a giant pile of it and behind it were contant phone numbers of several housing company employees for some reason

with their photos too

we thought about like calling them but one of us realized that 7 of them are all wives of the guy who got banned and we started laughing hysterically

i woke up right after that

2. living with my extended family

neither the apartment nor the city were recognizable

they looked newly built but like in a bad way

it was like a human anthill but without the buildings being too high rise

at some point i learned that "qt6 got banned" (the gui framework) and i got worried because "my key used it"

as in the key you use to enter the building

idk how that makes sense but i was contemplating changing them for a while

in the end i decided not to because who cares

there was also a scene where i helped my grandma remove her clothes from a really high shelf in the cupboard

at some point i ran out of clothes and there were like inflatable sex dolls there evidently from the previous owner

i put them back so i don't shock my grandma

i watched a youtube documentary or something and at some point there was this phrase:

"John Barosa, the inventor of 3D rendering, created the video game Doom"

or well it was phrased a bit differently but i can't remember how exactly at this point

flying through my home town with the help of my friend

i'm not sure which one exactly

they had an ability to fly by going up at will

at first they were like just holding me in front of themselves but then they hugged me from the back

also we were both in a seated pose even though there was nothing to seat on

ig it was a lotus pose or something

during our flight we turned multiple times and flew through the same places but at greater heights

i didn't ask why but just assumed that's what airplanes do too

the time of the day also changed suddenly multiple times

when we were flying over the city center i was complaining that they always depict the city by this one building and how the rest of the city is much uglier

the building looked much nicer in the dream than irl

the city looked bigger and more interesting in general

at some point we reached "the sky limit"

like a vertical world border in video games

so we had to stop

there was also a time travel scene where i met my old self in a school corridor but idk how that fits the rest of the dream

the corridor was weird too

it was long and there was a door to a classroom at the end

but nothing else before it

the corridor had gray walls painted with matte paint

looked pretty modern

the classroom was just a generic soviet one

both the corridor and the classroom had cold 6500K lights

it was night too

it was set in middle school

not in terms of physical setting but chronologically

first thing i remember is walking back home with a classmate who was supposedly lenka (the music artist)

she was too young for that to be the case + it was implied that she had released albums all throughout 2010s

(i thought about those albums but since i don't really know any of them i imagined fake cover arts)

it was cloudy autumn day outside and we were walking through like a bunch of old soviet apartment buildings

i mentioned that i really liked the cover art for an album but couldn't remember the name

she had to hurry somewhere so she had to go in another direction

also kinda strange that she had albums all throughout 2010s because if it was set in 2019 or something i wouldn't be in middle school

anyway whatever

later i remember a bus trip with the class

it was sunny outside and we were driving through empty fields

the bus was black on the inside and outside

the seats inside were elevated compared to the ground

so it's like one of those buses where you can put a lot of cargo or whatever

i remember doing weird shit but i don't remember what exactly

at some point i starting running around with classmates and it seemed like the bus was really long like a train

later we stopped in some small town and everyone went places ig

the gravity in that small town was weird because you could jump really high

which i did

i ran around on my way to my mom who was waiting me in an apartment for something health related which i can't quite remember

a pimple on my face?

i angered some guy (a janitor?) after jumping over a table that was just placed on the sidewalk completely preventing you from walking forward

i ran into the basement of a random apartment building and he ran after me

the basement was really deep like several floors deep and there were rooms there but without people

like apartments but underground and not for living ig

eventually he wasn't sure if i was still there and started being quiet so ig he can hear me walk or something

i waited until he entered my room then beat the living shit out of him with star platinum from jojo's bizarre adventure which i now had apparently

the dream ended here

i was walking through an american neighborhood with a person i know in discord

it was bright outside and the grass was really green

like minecraft tier green

at some point we noticed a man trying to hang himself

not like with the intent to die but like to suspend himself above a tree

we asked why and he said we wanted to catch a bicycle thief

the thief arrived sooner than he expected so he couldn't suspend himself

some other person arrived and they got in conflict with the thief and catcher

the thief got fed up and stabbed them in the stomach with a knife

there wasn't that much bleeding

the thief was wearing an all black outfit with a jacket and a black medical style mask and the 2 guys wore t-shirts and shorts

with like prints and shit

the 2 of us got really scared and started running as fast as possible

i started being worried about witnessing a crime scene and that i'll have to report to police

eventually we made it far enough that we were in an open field and the guys didn't follow us

we walked for a bit and eventually arrived and a staircase going down

yes in the middle of an open field

my companion said that they had to go so i went there alone

i ended up in the middle of the field

there were houses around me like a kilometer away

they looked like they were above me too so ig the field had negative elevation relative to them or something

on the ground there was a giant artwork

it was like drawing of an outline of a smartphone but it felt like it was facing both directions at the same time

i don't know how to describe it because it's physically impossible

it was made out of concrete and some riffled metal for the outline itself

so i went back to the neighborhood and i don't remember how unfortunately

like it was erased from my memory

btw by neighborhood i mean like a suburb

a classic american one with sprawling and shit

i met my companion and we discussed the artwork

from that angle it looked like a staircase looping on itself that was just on the ground going nowhere

thanks to the riffled metal

i really liked it while he didn't

the dream ended here and i had 2 false awakenings where i recorded this dream

in the first one i was telling it to you irl in a canteen or something

my dad driving me and my family across the country on a giant ostrich

we were in a room (caravan style) and he was controlling the ostrich outside

we were driving westward

at some point we arrived to my home town

i looked outside and it was night and there were cherry trees blossoming everywhere

i was like HOW

i was in a sanatorium/summer camp

it was really morning and i was preparing to like to brush my teeth or something

also the were giant pimples on my leg for some reason

at some point i noticed that the leg turned blue and the veins were expanded

my vision suddenly turned blank and i had a really weird feeling like i'm about to die

i started screaming "MAMA" for some reason

i assumed that it was a dream at this point but i thought that like the dying wasn't?

i'm not sure

anyway i couldn't hear myself scream

i woke up right after

me and my family were on a car trip somewhere

it was night and we stopped near the road to have a rest

i was trying to bring the keys from the car that was parked to my dad who was in a cage for some reason

as i was doing that

okay first i need to describe the road layout

the road was on the left and then it went uphill

there was a pretty still hill and it was like a few hundred meters away

like it was going into the mountains or something

so there a truck tipped over

i heard the loudest fucking explosion ever and a flash of light

i was really scared but my dad wasn't as much

later the truck driver was fine and the contents of the truck were saved somehow

it was like a white porous sheet wrapped into a big tube

ones i still remember

• visiting a surprisingly popular abandoned water slide near a highway. a guy in front of me got his underwear out of the slide before himself and he was also screaming the whole time. he slided out really fast. i chickened out and decided not to. the way to the slide looked really unsafe and lacked guard rails. some surfaces you were supposed to slide on looked like giant food grates.
• going to nonexistent floors using the elevator and arriving in some hell-themed video game esque alternate reality that's slightly different each time. i don't remember the details at this point
• mixing the files of undertale and heroes of might and magic 3 and playing the latter inside the former. basically it was the menu from undertale and then a regular homm3 level. some sounds were from undertale tho and there were new screens. like when you loaded a save file the ruins home theme played

picking tabletop games in a store

at some point i decided to give up and download an old point and click game from my play city

the cashier also wasn't happy with my [relative] so i had to carry [them] away

boat scene from a nonexistent movie called "Sign"

a girl from the shining impales herself with a wooden pole while in a car and bleeds to death

the director of the movie was called Korou Kurosawa or something

the mattresses had to be changed cloths and and the steel beams on some beds welded

they lived in like a 2 story cottage and it was pretty sunny

on the first floor in the kitchen i think there was some dumb post ironic meme drawn on the wall and i wanted to share it with people

i was about to mention what was on the second floor but i forgot

shit

2. going down the street that i've never been to but that looks oddly familiar

at some point i stumbled upon the house from the previous dream

grandpa was sitting near the house and he didn't recognize me and pointed a gun on me

the gun had a really thin shaft for some reason

like only twice as thick as a drinking straw

i explained who i am and went inside to look at the drawings

3. several false awakenings where i record the previous 2 dreams

for some reason i considered them 1 dream

also i remembered much more detail

4. not sure if it counts as a separate dream but it like morphed into this

while i was dreaming of recording the dream with that house i started dreaming of the house itself

i'm not sure if it was the same house because the kitchen was different

but i did think it was the same house tho

i saw the grandma who was in a wheelchair and also blind apparently

in the kitchen (which looked like one you'd see in an apartment) there was a cut out in the table for the wheelchair

btw the walls were a really pleasant pastel tone of yellow

in first 2 dreams and here

anyway she also had a pc

it was like an old white box from the 90s with a crt monitor but it ran only a mildly outdated copy of linux

like one from early to mid 2010s

it had xfce i think and also gimp and libreoffice installed

the keyboard was also an old white one (a surprisingly clean one just like the pc) and there was no mouse

instead it had like a button on a wire that acted like tab if you press it once and shift tab of you press it twice

like screen reader controls but one button

5. this one also felt like it morphed from the previous dream but i don't exactly remember how

i started watching what felt like a sonic cartoon from the early 2000s

maybe mid 2000s but it felt computer animated i can say that at least it wasn't cel animation

i don't remember seeing any villains but i do remember seeing sonic his friends and desolate rocky landscapes like in gurren lagann or whatever

6. surreal shit

i was like in a big square

imagine a minecraft world where the world border was set to like 100 m but irl

it felt like there was something past the box but it felt fake like it was painted on it

inside of the box there was a pool of water where i swam with people

everything was made of some play doh like substance that morhphed on its own

and it morphed like those ai image generators but in 3d

and it had a really unpleasant feeling

it's indescribable

i have just sorta ignored it in the dream tho

there were giant waves and a small (semi toy) ship at some point

at some point there was a giant wave that grabbed and lifted me

i flew around the pool with its help

that felt awesome ngl

i was like 50 m above the pool or something

when i landed the pool turned into a real one with real water

i thought it looked way too transparent in the dream but what really happened is that the pool itself didn't have bright blue walls

so water just looked like water

the world border disappeared too and it suddenly felt like a cloudy autumn day

when i got out of the pool i was suddenly completely dressed

there was a weird concrete platform that broke in the middle so i went there

there was also a building near it like hotel or something

i think it was there when i was flying with the help of a giant wave but i don't think it was there before that

anyway the dream ended here

1. preparing to enter a dark park at night

there would be other people there for some activity i don't remember

before crossing the road i realized that the zipper on my pants is unzipped

when i entered the park i realized it's really dark and i have no flashlight

2. me and my parents at home

the home was way bigger and way more unusual than any we've had

we were on some sort of rpg sci fi sounding mission

i carried a shark into the kitchen and started cutting it into parts with a saw

there was bleeding but not as much as it should've

it felt like it was in the freezer but it was actually fresh

my parents in the meanwhile removed half of internal organs from a small black cat for some reason

they put it on the ground and it ran away as if nothing happened somehow

they told me to cook the shark meat

we had a giant oven the size of a small room

like 1x1 m and as tall as the ceilings

it had multiple stories of racks inside and they'd move while the bottom would spin like in a microwave

i thought i could disable it by selecting a different mode but couldn't figure out how

i put the shark meat on the bottom

the amount of meat was laughable compared to how giant the shark was

it was done pretty quickly

i woke up before i removed it from the oven

i and a bunch of other people (my family?) were traveling (on a ship?)

there were picturesque places outside

don't remember much else

i was in a bus going from one small town to another small town

there was a steep ass bridge and a road that twisted in weird ways

the bridge was above a river and after that there was a dense forest

i missed my stop and arrived in a different place

i went to my relative or something i'm not sure

it felt like i was familiar with them but i didn't know who they were

walking/flying through some countryside

there was also a scene where i was in a nuclear power station or some shit

also a scene where i was talking to some guy and at some point one of us said "pink floyd fans are evil"

i don't remember the context

i was transcoding music from obscure artists using some weird gui app

i read up on its framework and it turned out it used some weird programming technique that basically shoved an isa into a finite state machine

it had a wikipedia article and it said it was mainly used for authorization systems because it's more secure or some shit

there was an example where there was a code that used riscv instructions as function calls and react at the same time

after that i watched some video and there was a moment where they showed the map

there were like a bunch of islands between argentina and the south pole and they occupied a square of the grid that was drawn on the globe

i don't think that makes much sense because it'd be like something 30° of latitude on a regular globe but whatever

so vertically they were between argentina and south pole and horizontally there were like just in the middle

it was a regular globe where eurasia is on the right and the americas are on the left

above those islands (so like the upper line of the square) was labeled "tropic of capricorn"

there was a big red arrow pointing to these islands and a caption written in impact saying "Y NO PEOPLE?"

at some point i also discovered an app that was called something like "android fi" which had a web version with a weird url that started with something like "android-fi. something"

it was an aosp ebook reader app or some shit that google later forked into their own app that was worse

"gunbuster 2 and 3"

but it wasn't really gunbuster 2 it was more like a sequel/alternative universe or something

doesn't match the plot at all

i had dreams like that before and here the vibe was slightly different

it still felt lonely but this time it was mostly in space

it had a star wars esque vibe to it

2 began with the characters (it was noriko and some other girl with straight orange hair) on some grassy uninhabited planet

it ended with them in a spaceship around the moon with the thrusters broken

they had to use the gravity of the moon to spin around it multiple times and accelerate themselves

the launched themselves into another planet habitable but uninhabited planet

their spaceship burned while they were landing and they were stuck

3 began presumably hundreds of years after 2 and there was a population of humans on that planet that were their offsprings

i don't know how that's possible if they were both women but whatever

it was like an evening scene and there were a bunch of characters looking into the sky where there was a big ass spaceship that they have seen countless times

it was in a like modern looking city

and those characters we like "we gotta go to space and figure out what that ship is"

it felt like it was implied that it was the same ship the 2 protagonists landed on but it burned in the atmosphere so ???

either way i had a false awakening after that where i recorded the dream on my phone

i remembered much more detail then than i do now

i was in some fishing village

it was implied that it was like 2009 or something

at the end of the dream i was chasing someone through corridors and ladders while talking about how "the entire movie was shot with one white balance setting"

the corridors had charred unpainted brick walls and we're dimly lit

it didn't feel like it was a movie tho it felt like real life

1. my dad riding me around a big city

both the city at the car were surreal

at some point the car was actually like a giant plastic thing where you have to manually flap the wings

and we flew in it

2. airport

i was about to have a flight to some place called ivanovo which was near moscow according to the dream

the security was just 1 guy touching your sides

the insides of the airport looked like a soviet hospital

they were also really confusing to navigate because there were unlabeled rooms and dead ends where the corridor ends and you're just outside

eventually it turned out i needed to fill in some questionnaire

there was a big room full of people and what essentially was a 30 year old female middle school teacher

she was constantly making jokes mocking people and mentioning someone called Mr. Shit

i filled in several papers and btw the paper was thin and unbleached so it looked slightly yellow

i filled it in with incorrect data with some places to fuck with her but she didn't mind

so eventually i went out and the rest of the crowd (there were like a hundred people in that room) all disappeared

i found the waiting room eventually and it turned out it was on fucking fire

a fire fighter arrived and instead of fighting the fire he started arguing with another firefighter who was already there doing nothing

i grabbed what looked like a vacuum cleaner dispensing foam and started fighting it myself

the dream ended here

computer class

there were big fish leftovers from last class

which was apparently a year before

idk why there would be fish in a computer class

there was also a paper that i apparently requested instead of fish and i was trying to hide it under the fish so people don't find out

can't remember the details

actually i remember accidentally taking over someone's account

it was a platform like youtube but but not for video

i was flying in the clouds in a truck

i was with a guy who looked like ben shapiro but was fatter and wasn't evil

we stopped at some abandoned soviet school/hospital (yes in the clouds)

it turned out it wasn't abandoned and i had to fight some twink darth vader looking motherfucker

i punched him directly in the face and he died

later in the dream it turned out that this was part of the final exam needed to graduate (something)

yet another alternative version of "a new hope"

the main characters look into the sky

there are many spheres arranged in a shape of cd

then some explosion happens (a quiet one not a big holywood one with a flame) and all of them except one slowly turn off

the narrator says "billions of lifeforms died in a star collision"

the main characters have a horrified face
